Faith in 2020

As we all know, 2020 hasn’t been all that we planned for it to be. I hit my lowest point this spring when I was working full time and taking difficult classes to receive my MBA. Then, when my company was acquired by another large company, layoffs seemed imminent and the job market was essentially closed due to COVID. I was frozen with anxiety and couldn’t seem to move myself forward.

Then, I received the advice from my director to try to focus on things I can control in order to maximize my personal power. Coincidentally, I received this coin and necklace as a gift around the exact same time and it became a physical reminder to actively choose faith. It’s an empowering feeling when we remember to choose the road of peace and positivity.
